Markfield Equestrian Centre has been established since 1981, and is owned by Mr and Mrs Duffield. It has developed substantially to its present size of a large indoor school (60 x 30m), smaller indoor school (20 x 40m), outdoor school (60 x 30m) and livery stabling for 40 horses and ponies.

We currently have around 38 well schooled horses and ponies that we use in the riding school.

We offer lessons to all ages from 4 years upwards, and offer private, semi private and group lessons for all standards. Our group lessons are graded from level 1 (beginners) to level 4 (advanced). We also offer lessons for career, competition and business training.

We run a BSJA show season from October to March. (Please see show schedule for details)

During the summer holidays we run a wide range of activities for children, including pony care days, weeks and camping activities.

Markfield Equestrian Centre is BHS approved and is also a recognised pony club centre, with weekly training sessions and jumping and games days.

Stable management and NVQ training are available.
